E-Mail received from Barbara Toews 9-14-03:

Hurrah! I am pleased to report that I’m finally pretty much settled in and “wired” at home, having had home phone and internet connections installed at last! Please update your address books to reflect my residence mailing address, home phone number and e-mail address.  (I can still receive mail at the school address I gave you previously—especially parcels, should you feel moved to send me any :) --since  school personnel can handle the hassle of dealing with the bureaucratic details of customs inspectors, duty payments, etc.)  However, it would be nice to see something in my home mailbox once in awhile! Although for unexplained reasons I still have a block on my phone which prevents me from making international calls at the present time, my home phone does work for incoming international calls. So please phone me sometime! I would love to hear your voice, however briefly. For your information, Istanbul time is GMT+3 (or 1 hour ahead of German time, 7 hours ahead of East Coast time, 10 hours ahead of West Coast time, and 5 hours behind China time).
